We are Smyrna International, a multicultural focused ministry and part of Smyrna Pentecostal Church located in down-town Gothenburg, Sweden. Smyrna church consists of members from a number of different countries. We´re situated in the heart of Gothenburg, an area that is easily accessible both by public and private means. Tram and bus stop: Haga.

During this Summer period we are undergoing a major move to a new location and premises on the other side of the city, FRIHAMNSKYRKAN (see Google maps). Grand opening September 17th!

Due to the move we will be having limited gatherings at our present location. We will have church services in English every other week at 14.00 in SMYRNA.

As a church ministry focused on english speaking long-term and short-term residents, we have decided to have four main goals: In an atmosphere of love we strive to develop, serve and connect with those around us.

Our desire is to assist all that visit us to be true disciples (followers) of Jesus and not only be disciples but strive to  pursue the calling and commission Jesus has given us to also make disciples and lead others to Christ.

We are experiencing very unsettling times on many different levels of society, many challenges have risen and want to potentially create fear in us. We believe that God is greater and wants to use His church in an even greater way to influence society and peoples lives. We believe God has given the church as an instrument for guidance and change in our unstable world. Our prayer is that we would be sensitive and hear His voice and direction throughout this year.
