“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age”.
Amen. Matthew 28:19-20
When we talk about Missions we often think of someone moving to a foreign country to share about Jesus. This concept is changing as the world is reachable in so many new ways. The Gospel is shared through radio, TV, and internet and of course through the local church.
The Smyrna church that Smyrna International is a part of, works with mission both locally and in other countries. Our city is a multicultural city and we find people from all over the world living here. In Smyrna International Church this is easy to see and we think the church should be a reflection of the whole world. It is a great opportunity and challenge to present the gospel as a positive life-changing possibility to all mankind.
The Smyrna church focus and work towards different countries and regions. We support some missionaries that work full time but most of the support is to different local churches in a number of countries. Some of the countries/regions that we work together with are India, Pakistan, Sudan, Congo and Europe. We also work to reach the unreached areas in the world.
In many of the projects we work together with PMU www.pmu.se.
If you are interested in getting involved please fill in the form on the contact page and we`ll get back to you as soon as we can.
