Christ Supreme!

This past week I was amazed to see the number of muslims on the streets of Gothenburg engaged in evangelism. “What’s going on?” I thought to myself. Even if I can sense the intense warfare in the spiritual realm, I was definitely not prepared for what I was about to see. These young men were handing out pamphlets with JESUS written on them in bold font. “What?”  this was really confusing, to say the least. As I approached one of them, I realized that their strategy was to convince the world that ‘Jesus Christ is not God’ amongst other false allegations.

It was both upsetting and comforting at the same time. Upsetting because they were trying to  depict a person who they didn’t know and thus doing Him no justice. Comforting because they clearly had no confidence in their ‘brand’ so much so that they needed to go to such pathetic lengths…they must feel threatened by this Jesus. Who is He?

Well, I decided to dedicate today’s blog to talk about my best friend, Jesus Christ! He is definitely more than I can comprehend but I believe that my  personal relationship with Him backed by His word (the bible) can help to shed some light on who He is.

Jesus Christ is Supreme. He is God and He is also the Son of God. Jesus is the Great I AM. He is THE WAY, THE TRUTH and THE LIFE.

Jesus Christ is the beginning and the end; who was, who is and who is to come! Jesus Christ is the first born over all creation.

In Him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible things, whether thrones or rulers or powers or authorities. All things were created through Him and for Him. Jesus Christ was before all things. In Him ALL THINGS hold together!

Jesus Christ is the precious cornerstone. He is the head over every power and authority. Jesus Christ’s name is above every other name…at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow in heaven and on earth and under the earth. At the name of Jesus every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Jesus Christ, Who being in very nature God, took the very nature of a servant being made in human likeness (God in flesh), purposefully walked on this earth, died on the cross and shed His innocent blood for mankind. He was buried but on the third day the grave could not contain Him, He rose again from the dead and lives today; seated on His throne in heaven!

Jesus Christ is God!!!

We have the call for this city, we are the light in Jesus. May God help us all so we can be used as it pleases Him to rescue as many as possible, including these deceived Muslims fellows! They need the light to see, the need to see the love of the cross, they need to feel the power of the resurrection and the hope of everlasting life. And God needs us all.
Thank you for updating us this important issue in our town
    In Him,
    Epheram

      Indeed Epheram!
May we be relevant to this society in exposing them to the love and power of Jesus Christ! The way, The truth and The life!

I’ll keep you posted when we have the next “love Gothenburg” a love campaign to the City! Otherwise it is a daily walk 😉
