Cross-road

A few days ago I was heading out to a suburb called Mölndal to have a talk with someone. Nothing unusual about that, but the difference this time was that I wasn’t going to be taking my car but be traveling on public transport. After arriving in the suburb I jumped off the bus and all of a sudden it hit me that I had no idea what way to go in order to reach my destination.

I stopped the first person I met and asked the way to my decided goal and he showed me by pointing in the direction I was to walk, but something inside me said that that it seemed to be in the totally wrong direction. So I took my cellphone and typed in the street name and just as I had thought, my destination point was in the totally opposite direction to what my so called “guide” had shown me. After just a short while, with the help of my telephone, I arrived at my goal, where I wanted to be.

It’s soon time for Easter and this year our church is doing even more to present the message of Easter.

This Thursday the 10th of April and on Sunday the 13th of April (Palm Sunday) we will be presenting our Easter drama called “I AM”

This will be our way of encouraging everyone to allow Easter week to be something we experience for a little longer than just a couple of days.

On Easter Sunday the 20th and also Monday the 21st Easter will culminate in the musical “PASSION” that pastor Urban Ringbäck has authored.

We hope you have the opportunity to join us for these occasions. Our goal is not to lead you astray and get lost, but rather to show you in the right direction during this Easter period. The direction towards the cross, the resurrection and an exciting, challenging life together with Jesus.

I believe the Easter message is the most powerful message anyone can be presented with. Through history the reality of what occurred at Easter has totally transformed and changed billions of lives. I pray that if you haven’t already experienced it, that this Easter will open your eyes to a totally new reality.

Have a great week! /Mark

John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten, unique Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish but have eternal everlasting life.
