The Miraculous!

It finally happened to me… too funny!

So I walk into a supermarket near my work place for a quick buy. I end up with more than I had planned to get and in my mind I am wondering whether I have enough money in my account. Well, there’s only one way to find out. I’m gladly the only one at the cashiers so I quickly put my items on the till awaiting to see the total amount. “Oh my days, this supermarket is quite pricy”, I realize as I insert my card and enter the pin-code.

At this point, there is a short queue forming behind me and the card reader shows that I don’t have sufficient funds for the transaction. To cut a long story short, I ended up with one item which was not the actual reason I had stopped by the supermarket… so typical! 🙂

Well, the actual shocker for me was the cashier. He waited to serve the few people on the queue and then offered to pay for my stuff.  I turned down his offer since I was now getting late for my next appointment. That is when he told me that he recognized me… hmmm!

Some few years back, I had the honor of shooting an amazing interview of a young man who had been diagnosed with a severe level of cancer to the degree that the doctors had given up on him. He had been given a few days to live and his family was advised to find some closure as he would definitely be departing.

However, the Church was praying for him and he himself had faith that Jesus would heal him. The interviewer, who was a friend of mine, gave us a lead into this remarkable story. We went in with the intention of taking a video that would confound the wisdom of the wise and showcase the power of God… I too had faith that his health would be restored by The Lord Jesus Christ.

I can tell you that the devil would not have it go easy. It was a struggle taking that video and I remember getting an attack to the extent that the camera almost broke as I got hit by a supernatural force and fell with a thud to the floor. Realizing that it was spiritual warfare, I got up and got on with the filming until the end… glory to God!

Fast forward and four years later, here I am standing in the supermarket being served by the very man who once had a death sentence. I immediately forgot about time and started to praise God and give Him glory for the wonderful miracle in this man’s life. As I was taken by unspeakable joy, he continued to tell me of the many other miraculous things that God had performed in his life. Unbelievable!

It’s exciting for me to meditate with recognition that we have a God who performs miracles; who loves to display His power among the peoples. Surely, whatever is impossible for man is possible with God… It’s His specialty!! In fact, with God ALL THINGS are possible!!

Is it your day of trouble? Have you been given a death sentence?  Is your business in jeopardy? Do you find yourself in a difficult marriage? Are you incurring debt that will take a lifetime to payback? Have you made a bad decision that is costing you ‘beyond what you can bare’? Have you reached a point of no return? Are you between a rock and a hard place? What ‘impossible’ situation are you facing..?

During this Easter week, I pray that you may experience the miraculous power of God: the miraculous power of love. That same miraculous power of love, that rose Jesus from the dead, is still at work today. Believe it and receive it… let Him work!

Psalm 77:14, Matthew 19:26, Luke 1:37, Romans 8:11, Ephesians 6:10-18.

That was a beautiful story! This is the God we serve, One who does miracles every day…some we recognize others are not. It is never small miracles, each one is special and impacts our lives. It is a miracle that I am in Sweden today and doing the work that God called me to do. I thank God for Smyrna International and Pastor Mark. A great person that the Lord has put in this place for a time such as this. He and his wife sacrifice so much of their time, energy and lives for the gospel. There is indeed a crown stored up in heaven for them.
We are all on the battlefield fighting the good fight of faith with the help of the Holy Spirit and sometimes we are able to enjoy some victories here on earth but our ultimate reward lies in heaven. God bless!

If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us?
    Be encouraged!

  3. Impossible is not a fact,its a fallacy,its an opinion.impossible actually means I ‘M POSSIBLE.Impossible is NOTHING with God.I have seen situations change through Gods word.Impossible is not a declaration,its a dare..impossible is potential,impossible is temporary,impossible is NOTHING…because with GOD ,ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
