Seasons

JUNE!!! I’m guessing some panic buttons may have gone off while some of you are questioning God and muttering at Him, “time is running out and You haven’t answered me yet!” By the end of this month, half of 2015 will have rolled by and some of you are yet to see any items from your request list come to reality.

Maybe some of you have one or two requests answered but you still have several to go and you’re wondering how God will do it…realistically, its impossible to have that miracle by the end of the year. So many questions and doubts about God are coming through especially when you look at the calendar.

I welcome you to sit down for 5minutes and think about the seemingly “little” things He has answered. It might appear as though He hasn’t answered you or has been quiet. Rest assured He is there, right by your side, in the midst of the storm. He is the reason why the storm or the situation has not consumed you. He is the reason why you are still alive to even think or remember that He hasn’t answered yet. He is the reason why you wake up every morning. He is the reason why there is a smile on your face. The reason why there is food on your table. The reason why you are not dead and buried in a grave……..

We can go on and list 1000 more things He has done that has been overlooked because of our requests or expectations. It is easy to allow what we do not yet have to blind us to what God has already made available to us.

Certainly, His ways are not our ways and His thoughts are higher than ours. He is God all by Himself and does as He wishes. He is the God who knows the end from the beginning and knows where we are going before we even anticipate the journey. He is the God of times and seasons. Ecclesiastes 3:1 says, “To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under the earth”.

God had factored in the past, present and future before uttering the word of promise. He will not rescind it. He can’t quash His assurances. They are bankable and valid spiritual tenders. Why not take time out today to say “thank you” to God for His many blessings in your life, even when things appear to be running contrary to your expectations. He will do it at the perfect time. God is never in a hurry, He is always on time. Don’t fret, don’t panic, keep faith and keep trusting Him. He will come through even at the eleventh hour.

Shalom,

Ruthy Ade.

  1. My sister. Thank you for these word that are SO TRUE and encouraging! Our Father is always by our side, guiding us.
He will step in when the time is right. It’s important to look around us and stop for a second focusing on our own wishes and prayers and se everything in this world (big or small) that He has done and is doing. Thank you for the reminder!
