What’s your confession??

“My wife got sick. She was constantly nervous because of problems at work, personal life, her failures and problems with children. She has lost 30 pounds and weighted about 90 pounds in her 35 years. She got very skinny, and was constantly crying. She was not a happy woman. She had suffered from continuing headaches, heart pain and jammed nerves in her back and ribs. She did not sleep well, falling asleep only in the morning and got tired very quickly during the day.

Our relationship was on the verge of break up. Her beauty was leaving her somewhere, she had bags under her eyes, she was poking her head, and stopped taking care of herself. She refused to shoot the films and rejected any role. I lost hope and thought that we’ll get divorced soon…

But then I decided to act on it. After all I’ve got the most beautiful woman on the earth. She is the idol of more than half of men and women on earth, and I was the one allowed to fall asleep next to her and to hug her shoulders.

I began to pamper her with flowers, kisses and compliments. I surprised her and pleased her every minute. I gave her lots of gifts and lived just for her. I spoke in public only about her. I incorporated all themes in her direction. I praised her in front of her own and our mutual friends.

You won’t believe it, but she blossomed. She became even better than before. She gained weight, was no longer nervous and she loved me even more than ever. I had no clue that she CAN love that much. And then I realised one thing: The woman is the reflection of her man.

If you love her to the point of madness, she will become it. ”

– Brad Pitt, A Secret of Love

Death and life are in the power of the tongue and those who love it will eat its fruit……Proverbs 18:21.

A lot is at stake in what we say especially about our lives today. Looking at the actions of the man in this story, it’s not so much of the gifts and pampering that changed the woman’s situation rather the constant compliments and words of affirmation he showered on her both publicly and in private. We have to come to a realization that our lives are formed directly or indirectly by the things we say and the things we meditate on. Our confessions are pivotal to what we experience in life.

Train your words and make sure no unwholesome words come out of you because your words are an affirmation of both the present and the future. If we dwell and meditate on negativity, we experience the negative. However, if we meditate on the word of God and speak the promises of God even when the situation says something different, if we continually speak positivity and God’s word, things will turn around and begin to take shape according to our confessions.

You don’t have to be a Preacher to know the word of God, neither do you have to be a prophet to prophesy into you life, family and surrounding. The Bible reads in Matthew 7:7…. “ask and you will receive, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened to you.” My question is, what are you saying? What do you say when you wake up? How do you see your day? How do your evaluate your situation and what do you say about it? Deuteronomy 30:14-19….. sets before us “life and death” but admonishes us to choose life that we and our descendants may live.

Use your mouth to build your life and stir yourself up to change your disfunction into function. Remember that the Earth and Man were created with simple but yet powerful spoken words starting with “Let us and Let there be……..”

I charge you to decree your “let there be’s” without any shadow of doubt and remain blessed.
